About DiviTracker
A personal data-driven journey to track, analyze, and understand weekly option-income cashflow sources before the ex-dividend date.
Why I Built DiviTracker
Investing in option-income ETFs (like YieldMax products) presents a unique challenge: the actual cash flow generated from underlying strategies is often a black box until the official dividend declaration. I realized that to make informed decisions, I needed a way to track the realized trades and current holdings within an active cycle, rather than relying on guesswork.
DiviTracker started as my personal spreadsheet and data pipeline to solve this exact problem. By automating the collection and calculation of distribution funding sources, I could see the weekly pulse of these ETFs. I decided to make this tool public as a personal blog to share these observations with fellow data-driven investors. While it is built primarily for my own research, I hope it brings clarity to how these complex strategies operate in real-time.
What this site is
- A personal, transparent log tracking ETF cashflow flows directly from observed option strategies.
- Focused strictly on distribution funding tracking: we look at realized trades and current holdings within the active ex-date cycle.
- A growing platform built to expand beyond a single provider, aiming to cover broader option-income ecosystems over time.
What this site is not
- We do not provide investment advice, recommendations, or solicitations to buy or sell any security.
- This is not an official data source. Always cross-check our automated estimates with the fund sponsor’s official disclosures.
- Past cash flows logged here are never a guarantee of future performance or declared distributions.
Data & limitations
- Figures are produced by automated collection and processing.
- Delays, missing rows, or calculation errors may occur.
- Some products/strategies are complex and can be highly volatile.
